Tempe is rapidly expanding its transportation options. From the Valley Metro Rail to the new Tempe Streetcar, Tempe continues to ensure that everyone can move around the city quickly and efficiently. Please note: (*) Indicates stops accessible via both the Valley Metro Rail and Tempe Streetcar.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Valley Metro Rail is a 28-mile system that connects the cities of Phoenix, Tempe and Mesa. Trains stop at stations every 15-20 minutes. Fares are $2 for a single ride or $4 for a 1-day pass. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Park-and-Rides:<\/a> Park-and-Rides are free and are designated for daily transit use. There are 12 Park-and-Rides for the Valley Metro Rail. Simply park your car and take the Valley Metro Rail or Tempe Streetcar to your destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Station: Dorsey Ln. \/ Apache Blvd.*<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n Station: University Dr. \/ Rural Rd.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n Station: Veterans Way \/ College Ave.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n Station: Mill Ave. \/ 3rd<\/sup> St.*<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The new Tempe Streetcar makes 14 stops along a three-mile route connecting riders and visitors to neighborhoods, major business centers and regional events and destinations.
